WE HAD A SHOP IN SANTA FE

The House of the Mountain Mouse

Native Americans from the Pueblos and Santa Fe artisans brought their miniatures for us to sell. There's very                                 little of these authentic objects left. They sold fast to the tourists and collectors...

$500 FOR EVERYTHING

David Ross was a friend of ours and  had a well-known and respected gallery of his works on Canyon Road in Santa Fe.

The little clay Mexican girls and table sculpture are a mystery to me.

Hand carved cedar trunk with box – signed by Dan Shaw

Look at this bench! It opens for storage and is stacked with amazing hand-woven pillows.

                                                                                                          Made in Columbia

We sold hundreds of the tiny Pueblo-made pots, baskets and figures. These are all that is left. The Saint Francis is made of balsa wood and locally done. The bowl on the right is also from a Pueblo, but the cloth human figures are Mexican. The fact that the Native Americans wove these rugs blows my mind.
