MAN ROOMS

The Gentleman Adventurer's Room

This cushy, 'old' chair is signed (see list below)

Who painted this? I don't know. The top is painted beautifully as well.

This beautiful screen is signed...

I especially love the derrringer, spyglass in its case, and the clock, which is signed by B. Blankenfeld (see list below for a little more about B.B)

I painted the elephant in 1980ish, which is just a little resin molded one-of-many. The whale, table sculpture might be ivory...or plastic...

There are 24 objects in this grouping. I imagined a world traveler who obtained something he loved from each country or town he visited. Here is a list of his treasures that he respectfully displays in his study:
Fireplace Mantle
Chinese Silk Rug
Elephant Stool
Faux ivory whale figurine
His cushy chair – signed ‘LoReda #24 1982’
Faux leather-top side table
Clock signed – ‘B. Blankenfeld June 81 #57’
Betsy Blankenfeld's Hand Made 1:12 Scale.  Betsy was, in my opinion, the very best at making unique appliances, sinks, safes and other rare and odd miniature household items in 1:12 scale. It is extremely difficult to find any of her items anywhere.
2 bronze (brass?) mantle birds
Grecian Urn
Japanese Lamp (wired to light)
Derringer
Spyglass in case signed – ‘wm s….? 1981’
Porcelain mug
Brass sphere with arrow
Painted Table
Faux marble column
Chinese Screen signed – ‘Lind(?) Wexler 1980’
falling apart & needs tape

Standing Spyglass on tripod
Leather foot stool
Cigar box
Japanese Vase
Globe on legs
Old world framed map
Spyglass on tripod

ALL OF THESE MINIATURES $600

     HIS MAN CAVE

                             No wife or kids allowed...

#2

$450

He likes to play chess with his friends, drink whiskey & smoke cigars. He's saved every treasure from his childhood...

He likes his geodes, shells, paper weights & treasure box

It's a good place to sit, read, have a drink and smoke a cigar.

Some of his furniture looks like it was in his grandparents' house...

An octagonal table and bird table-sculpture.  I think the sculpture is made of lead.

I think these things on his desk speak for themselves...
